I. Overview

Before we div deep in to explaining the console and how to do all posting processes, we need to know what our console can do and what are the main functions that exist. Since our website is a real estate platform to you to post your properties about selling and renting houses, land, buildings, and so on, we provide you a few main functions which help you posting your properties in an easy and efficient way. So our main functions or features are:

  1. Posting Properties: This function allows the user to post their properties about selling or renting houses, buildings, land and so on.
  2. Upload Images: After posting the property, the user might need to upload image for their properties which why this functions play a crucial role in helping user uploading images for each specific property.
  3. Edit Properties: This function helps user making changes or updating their properties whether images or content.
  4. Delete Properties: This function allows user to delete their posted properties which they prefer.
  5. Edit Contact: This function allows the user to edit their profile which help their buyers, sellers, brokers or agents be able to contact with this profile information.
After explaining and show what our console can do, it would help you understand and easy to go along with the explanation and demonstration blow.

II. Understand Console

Let’s begin by understanding our console in order to make it easier for you to go through the processes of posting your properties on our platform as the following:

  1. Left-Sidebar: So when you’ve logged in our posting properties panel, you will see the left-sidebar with two tab menus which are called “My Property” and “Contact Information”. These two features or functions play a crucial part in the way you post your properties on our platform such as:
  2. ● My Property: This is the place where you can see all your posted properties on our website and it is also a place where you can post, edit or delete your properties.
    ● Contact Information: This is the place where you can change your contact information. This contact information will appear in each posts which allow your visitors (buyer, seller, or agent) can contact and ask more information about your posted properties.
  3. Top Header Menu: 591khmer: By clicking on this top header menu item, you will be redirected to our home page website. This would make it easy and it is a quick way where you can go to our home page shortly.
  4. Top Header Menu: Help: After clicking on this top header menu item, you will be redirected to a page which provide information on how to post, delete, edit and upload images into your posted properties. That information is what you are reading right now.
  5. Top Header Menu Dropdown: Username: Clicking on username (user profile), you will see a dropdown menu which list three item that’s called “My Account”, “Setting”, and “Logout” as the picture below:

    ● My Account: By selecting this menu, you will be redirected to a page where you can change your account information such as your username, e-mail, and your password.
    ● Setting: If you want to change or switch language between English to Khmer or Chinese, you have to select of one language of your choices by going to Setting menu.

    • Logout: If you want to logout of the system, you just click on this menu logout. Then it will redirect you to the posting property page login.

    Understanding Property Console: In the introduction section, we might have talked a little bit about posting property panel or console. So in this section, we will go through on how to post the properties on our platform. If you need to know how to edit or delete the properties, you might need to the next section below. Let begin knowing about “My Property” Panel first before we div deep into posting properties.
    • Whenever you log in to this panel,you will surely see this menu item first of all, “My Property”. As you can see in the picture on the right hand side, you will see two buttons called: “Create” and “Delete”. You also see a list of properties with information such as ID, Name, Category, Price and Status.
      A list of property as you can see are listing all your posted properties which you have posted on our platform. With listing all properties, you can see a checkbox and little edit icon with each of posted properties. With this console or panel, you can see all your property which one is available, sold, or rented. You can also delete any property (will show how to delete in the next section) that you want or edit (will show how to edit in the next section) by just clicking on edit icon for editing property information.

    Now let's take a look in post property page as in the picture below. In the post property page or panel, you will three tabs called “INFORMATION*”, “OPTIONAL DETAILS”, and “IMAGES”. The tab which has an asterisk sign (*) are required to fill without blank or empty.


      • INFORMATION*: For this tab, all fields are important and are required to fill. That information will tell your visitor (buyers, sellers, agents, or brokers) what you are selling or renting, price, location, and description of your property. What you need to fill in this tab are category of your property, name, description, price, status, and location. Below are some important fields to know:
        • Category: For category on our platform right are “Sale” and “Rent” for you to choose.
          • Sale: If you want to sell land, house or big building, you have to select or choose “Sale” category so it would be easy for your visitor who view property by sale category.
          • Rent: If you want to rent room, house or big building, you have to select or choose “Rent” category so it would be easy for your visitor who view property by rent category.
        • Property Status: For property status is very important. If you choose or select the wrong one, your property will not be shown. So understand type of property is what you need to know for posting property on our platform.
          • Available: If your property mark as “Available”, your property still exists or available for renting or selling to your visitor. It surely appears to your visitor whenever they visit our website.
          • Unavailable: If your property mark as Unavailable, your property does not exist or available for selling or renting to your visitor. It will surely not appear in our website.

      • OPTIONAL DETAILS: For this optional details tab are not required but might be helpful for you to show more details of your properties. The information that need to be filled are category (community category, house category, land category, and so on), near, bedroom, living room, age, size, housing shape, equipment, furniture that exist in your house or building, and so on. As what we mention above, all field in this tab are not required. You can fill or left it empty or blank, it's up to you whether you want to fill it or not. Take a look at the picture below:

      • IMAGES: For uploading image into each property of yours. You first need to fill up your property information in “Information tab” and save it. Then you can do the uploading image into that property. If you don’t save all the information in the “information*” tab first, you will not be able to upload image into that property post as shown in the picture below:

        (Uploading Image will be demonstrated in the next section, all you need to know now is understand all fields and required field before doing posting). After uploading image, you might notice images with mark as “Set as default” as picture below:

        Set as Default: Every images that you upload with have a radio-checkbox or tick box for you to choose whether you want to set it as a default or main image to appear to the visitors first of all. To make it simple and easy to understand, we set the first image as in the picture above as “Set as default”. You will what it looks like when it appears on our home page as picture below:

        Notes:

        • Image size must be less than 6 MB
        • The maximum of uploading images are 10 image files.
        • Images can be uploaded after saving all information in Information Tab first
        • An image will be uploaded once at a time.

III. Post Property

In order to post your properties on our website, you must follow the following step as describe and show with images below:

1. First, click on button “Create”.
2. Fill information the form as an example in the picture. Your information might be different. If you are not sure about this form, please go back to the Understanding Posting Property Console for more details about the form.
3. You can fill this form (optional details) or leave it empty or blank as you prefer. For this sake, we will fill this form as an example for you. Your data or information might be varied.
4. Click button “Save”

IV. Upload Images

After click button save, your data or information are saved as shown in the picture.

5. If you want to upload the images, please click “Edit Icon” as shown in the picture.
6.Click on a Tab called “Image”

1. Click on Icon with a caption called “Choose a file…” to find an image that you want to upload in your device.

2. Click button “Upload” after choosing the image that you want to upload.
7. To delete the images that you have uploaded by clicking the crossed-sign (x) on the top left corner of the image as shown in the picture.
8. After uploading the image that you want now, you can click button “Save” to save all your data and information. That’s all good to go.

Notes:

  • Image size must be less than 6 MB

  • An image will be uploaded once at a time.

V. Edit Property

Here you want to edit your property by changing some information such as property status or might be category of your property, I guess. We will show you how to do show right away in this section. Let follow the steps below:

2. On this edit page of a property, you can update any information you like from name, images, location. After updating those data or information, you just click button “Save” and your information will be saved and changed as what you have modified.

VI. Delete Property

To delete your posted property is very easy. What you need to do is by checking the checkbox of the property that you want to delete and then click on button “Delete”. Awesome. Your deleted property will be gone forever.

Note: If you delete multiple properties at a time, you just check all the checkbox of properties that you want to delete and click button “Delete” so your data or information will be deleted.

VII. Edit Contact Information

As we have mentioned a little bit in the introduction section, so here we are going to div deep on how to modify its contents. Just a quick review.

This is the place where you can change your contact information. This contact information will appear in each posts which allow your visitors (buyer, seller, or agent) can contact and ask more information about your posted properties.
If you want to edit your contact information, you just click on Contact Information Menu on the left hand side then it will show you form of contact information where you can edit. That information is First Name, Last Name, E-mail, and Phone Number. After finishing updating your contact information, all you need to do is clicking on button “Save” and that’s all. Your data or information will be saved.

Since the data will be shown on your post as the contact information, please make sure the information is accurate.

VIII. Change Account Information

In this section, we will show you how to change some information of your account in the account setting. In order to change some information, you have to follow shown below:

1. First of all, you have to click on “My Account” below the Top Header Drop-Down Menu (User Profile). Then it will redirect you to Account Information Page which allows you to edit your account information.
2. As the picture show on the left hand side, there are information such First Name, Middle Name, Last Name, E-mail, password, and two textbox field for you to change password. If you want change any information in this account setting, what you need to do is just changing any information in the textbox fields that you want to change and click button “SAVE”.
For example: If you need to change password, all you need to do is by just fill your new password in textbox new password field and retype your new password in confirm new password textbox field and then click button “Save”.

Note: All the fields with asterisk sign (*) are required to fill except “New Password” and “Confirm New Password” in case you want to change your password.

IX. Select Language

In case you want to change or switch languages between English and Khmer or Chinese, what you need to do is to follow all the steps below:

1. Click on “Setting” below the top header menu drop-down (user profile). Then it will redirect you to setting page where you can switch languages. The picture shows you what it looks like.
2. If you want to switch from English to Khmer, you need to do is by choosing or selecting Khmer. Then the whole panel or console will be translate to Khmer Version. Look the picture below to see the result.
